We welcome participants with an early stage prototype of their product, with an aim to turn it into a business targeting the Indian consumer market.​

What qualifies as 'early stage'?

  • Entrepreneur should be at pre-seed stage (not raised any investments yet)​
  • Market validation is NOT necessary​
  • Company registration is NOT required​
  • The business should cater to Indian markets. Alternate international sales channels are permitted but should not be the primary focus​
  • No limit on team size. Solo founders are allowed. Team members can be distributed anywhere in the world. Non-Indian founders are allowed as long as their primary consumer market is India.​

What qualifies as 'prototype'?

  • Prototypes may be of two types–a physical product or a software as a service product​
  • For a physical prototype, we need something that enables us to “visualize” what you are building. It must be more than just a concept note.​
  • For a Software-as-a-Service prototype, user flows and mockups are allowed. ​
  • The company should at least have a landing page, if not a website.​
  • A top-level “business model” is required that should answer the following questions: What are your value propositions? Who is your customer? What is your projected market size?​

We are also only looking at entrepreneurs creating futuristic proteins for food, next-generation materials replacing animals and technologically advanced non-animal testing methodologies.
